Meet Jim Hennessey! Jim (60) shares his life with his wife, Lisa Hennessey, who has also shared her success with us. Together they enjoy their dog Mooka. Like Lisa, Jim began his journey in 2015 when they joined Bellin Health Fitness together. His goals were to get his body in better shape and get his joints and body loosened up.
Jim had many obstacles to overcome including a left knee replacement, vertebrae that was out of alignment, a slight rotator cuff tear and the aches and pains of arthritis. But this did not discourage him from working toward reaching his goals.
Bellin Health Fitness played a big part in helping Jim feel better. Him and his wife personal train with Dane Sutton and like his wife, he also appreciates how Dane keeps it challenging. They work on just the right exercises to work his abs, joints and muscles.
Primarily Jim’s life has changed because he is in less pain and has less restrictions on his body and joints. His success includes being able to move easier and being stronger. He also loves seeing the change in his wife and how she is a much happier and positive person. They are both grateful and thankful to be able to workout/exercise and just feel better!
When asked, “What advice would you give to help others?”, Jim’s response was, “You can workout to help your body get better and just start with a personal trainer so you can work up to your goals safely.”
